Resort: Bansko

Location: MPM Guinness is strategically located in Bansko, approximately 450 meters from the gondola lift station and about a 5–10 minute walk from the town centre. Sofia Airport lies roughly 163 km away, making the hotel a convenient base for winter ski holidays.

Accommodation: MPM Guinness is a five-storey hotel built in 2008 and last renovated in 2016. It offers 110 accommodation units, two elevators, central heating and carpet flooring. Please note that the kitchenettes in the rooms are not functional!

Pools: Guests enjoy a heated indoor pool measuring 10 × 6 m with a depth of 1.30 m and water temperature of 28–30°C, complemented by a pearl pool and a shock pool within the wellness area. A children’s section at the pool is also available.

About the Hotel: MPM Guinness welcomes guests with a main restaurant seating up to 150 and serving international buffet cuisine, a lobby bar with atrium architecture, and a conference hall (approximately 9.50 × 11.50 m) that can host up to 80 people in theatre style. Practical mountain-holiday extras include a ski storage room for personal equipment and a scheduled transfer to and from the gondola lift station. Families appreciate the kids’ club for ages 4–8 and a game room with electronic games. Additional services available on site are laundry, room service during limited hours, airport transfers on request.

Sports and Activities: Winter guests benefit from scheduled transfers to the gondola lift and on-site ski storage for their own equipment. Lift passes can be purchased at MPM Hotel Sport, a short 5–10 minute distance away. Ski and snowboard school as well as equipment rental are offered through external providers.

SPA and Wellness: The wellness area is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 and features a heated indoor pool, pearl pool, shock pool, jacuzzi, steam bath, and a sauna park with Finnish, salt and herbal saunas, plus a relaxation zone. Massages and beauty treatments are also offered. Free filtered water is provided in the wellness area.

Accessibility: The hotel is suitable for guests with reduced mobility and offers one partially adapted apartment-type room on the ground floor, equipped with grab rails / toilet seat supports next to the toilet.

Babies and Occupancy: Babies are included in the maximum capacity of the rooms. A baby cot is provided free of charge upon prior request.

Pets: Pets are not allowed at the hotel.

Notes: Depending on weather conditions, some hotel facilities may not be fully operational at the beginning and end of the season.

1-BR APP 2+2: One-bedroom apartments of approximately 50 sq.m combine a separate bedroom and living room divided by a door. The bedroom offers two single beds that can be joined as a double; the living room has a sofa bed for extra guests. Most apartments have a balcony, though not all. Expect central heating, telephone, flat-screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, minibar, electric kettle with a single complimentary Nescafé or tea refill on arrival, and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes. Daily cleaning; towels and bed linen changed every three days; iron on request at reception. Maximum occupancy: 4 adults or 3 adults and 1 child (minimum capacity 2 adults). Babies are included in the maximum capacity.

2-BR APP 4+2: The largest option at roughly 75 sq.m, these two-bedroom apartments all feature a balcony with mountain or city views. Layout includes two bedrooms (double and/or single beds depending on availability), a living room with sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower. Amenities: central heating, telephone, flat-screen cable TV, fWi-Fi, minibar, electric kettle with one complimentary Nescafé or tea refill on arrival, hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes. Daily cleaning; towels and linen every three days; iron on request at reception. Maximum occupancy: 6 adults. Babies are included in the maximum capacity. *Some of the two-bedroom apartments are maisonette type and are located on the 5th floor. Accommodation in these units is provided upon availability.

STUDIO 2+1: Compact and practical, the Studio 2+1 offers approximately 35 sq.m of living space in one large room. Sleeping arrangements include a double bed or two single beds plus an extra bed as a pull-out armchair. Most studios do not have a balcony. Amenities include central heating, telephone, flat-screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, minibar, and an electric kettle with a single complimentary refill of Nescafé or tea on arrival. The private bathroom features a shower, hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes. Daily room cleaning is provided; towels and bed linen are changed every three days; an iron is available on request at reception. Maximum occupancy according to the hotel: 2 adults and 1 child. Babies count toward the maximum capacity.

Check-in: Check-in after 14:00.

Check-out: Check-out by 11:00.

Breakfast: Buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:30 to 10:00 in the main restaurant and includes a variety of hot and cold dishes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, omelets, dairy products, sausages, cheeses, pastries, cereals, fruits, coffee, tea and soft drinks from a dispenser.

Dinner: Buffet dinner is served daily from 18:00 to 21:00 in the main restaurant and features fresh salads, soups, a rich selection of Bulgarian and international dishes, vegetarian and meat options, pasta, breads, a sweet dessert buffet and filtered water.

Drinks: Free filtered water is available at the main restaurant during meals and in the wellness area. Soft drinks from a dispenser are included during breakfast. All other beverages at the lobby bar and restaurant are at extra charge.

Restaurants: The main restaurant serves international buffet cuisine for breakfast and dinner, with a capacity of about 150 seats. Vegetarian, gluten-free and dietary options can be arranged at the buffet upon advance request. High chairs are available for children.

Bars: The lobby bar, noted for its atrium architecture, operates from 08:00 to 23:00. Drinks at the lobby bar are available at an additional charge.

New Year: New Year’s Gala Dinner on 31 December is mandatory and included in the package price for guests staying over the festive date.

Notes: Half Board (HB) includes breakfast and dinner as described. Some facilities may operate on a reduced basis at the very start or end of the season depending on weather.

Parking: Outdoor unguarded parking is available at 10 EUR per day per car, subject to limited spaces and availability; spaces cannot be reserved in advance. A garage with 4 spaces costs 13 EUR per day per car, also subject to availability and non-reservable. The hotel reserves the right to change parking prices at any time. The hotel does not have an electric-car charging station.
